STRATHMASHIE, SCOTLAND
DAFFY'S GIN
Nestled amongst the pine trees in the heart of the Scottish Highlands, the Strathmashie Distillery is situated within the grounds of Strathmashie House, a Victorian shooting lodge visited by Queen Victoria and Prince Albert in the summer of 1847 and home of Daffy’s Gin.
The distillery offers residential accommodation in the distillery cottage and various gin making and foraging experiences as well as plenty of opportunities to get out and about in the outstanding natural beauty of the Cairngorms National Park. Other local activities include paddle boarding, hiking, mountain biking, fishing, climbing, skiing, snowboarding and wild swimming.
Of course, they also make exceptionally crafted gin, the secrets of which they are all too happy to share with like-minded friends! It helps that their high quality botanicals are steeped in the pure water from the local River Mashie.
